1 The
Napoleonic Spanish Peninsular War
This first Issue covers the making models
and terrain from Spain and set during the Napoleonic conflict.The style
of buildings can also be used for other European Mediterranean countries
and from early and latter periods. The terrain made within the book is
suitable for most of European countries and America.
It has 76 A4 pages, with 122 full colour pictures, including one of me
when I was six?
There are step by step colour picture instructions on how to make and
paint, numerous styles of houses, a church, various walling, windmill,
earth redoubt, French military Blockhouse, wheat fields, roads, statues,
rivers, fords and my unique way of making realistic looking terrain.
A special section with pictures and text on the Re-enactment group of
the British 95th Rifles who fought during the Spanish Peninsular War.
I recommend some good books from the period and where you can buy the
modeling materials used within the Issue.
There is also a selection of colour pictures showing a few of the model
projects I have undertaken over the years, such as The siege by Caesar
of Alesia, a Viking Demo game, WW2 Normandy village setting and some American
War of Independence models, built for John Ray. To bring the whole book
to life, there are some colour pictures of the God of all things Spanish
Napoleonic, Bill Gaskin figures.

This Issue covers buildings and terrain set during the English Civil War. As with Issue 1, they can also be used for earlier and latter periods and for many other countries.
It has 84 A4 pages, with 138 full colour pictures and yes, still one of me when I was six?
There are step by step colour picture instructions on how to make and paint a manor house, gatehouses in wood and stone, civilian houses, walling, fencing, barn, various earth works, church, Chevaux de Frise, hedges, grave stones, wheat fields and naturally the making of the terrain to put all the above on.
A special feature is some excellent pictures and text on the Fairfax Battalia Re-enactment group, who represent a regiment which fought for Parliament during the English Civil War.
Some useful books from the period are recommended and I have given details of where you can buy the modeling materials used within the Issue.
I have again included some pictures of models I have made previously and this time they cover Ancient Greek temples, harbour, farms and houses, along with a Roman Villa.
The whole Issue is packed with atmospheric Wargame figures pictures from my own collection, which enliven the buildings and layout and recreate this dramatic conflict, which shook the country back in 1642.

A slight change for Issue 3 in that it concentrates on two Wargames from World War Two and Colonial Sudan. They were played on terrain that I made for the Issue and using figure collections that I had specially painted.
It has 84 A4 pages, with 106 full colour pictures and a number of period Sudan black and white images. Sadly no picture of me aged six, but hurrah, one aged 46?
The two games are The Battle at the Well of Hasheen for the Sudan and the attempted crossing of the Rhine at Rhinel Bridge. The Mahdist spring a trap on the British to capture the well at the village of Hasheen and the Yanks try to rush the bridge at Rhinel to be the first over the Rhine.
Included with each game are dozens of full colour pictures of the games and blow by blow text of all the action.
I have included some model tips, on how to build, the WW2 trenches, bunkers, sandbags, the bridge used in the WW2 game, tank traps, river, fencing, a Mahdist Sudan river Nile fort, Zariba, scrub and British gunboat.
As ever I recommend some very useful books on the two periods and where you can acquire some very useful commercial model accessories and buildings.
If you enjoy reading about fun and imaginative Wargames, that bring a little creativity to the table top, then this Issue is for you.

This Issue covers the making of
models and Terrain during the periods of The American War of Independence,
The Civil War and The French & Indian Wars.
As ever it is 84 bound A4 full colour pages and is the best I have produced
thus far.
Models made include, town houses, barns, large earth work fortifications,
large and small blockhouses, settlements, fencing, wheat fields, how to
convert resin buildings, terrain making and some useful model tips.
